My end goal is this: using RRSPs, TFSAs,cash account,savings accounts and DRIPS; to save/invest my earnings for the next 10 years ( whilst free-loading off my lovely wife;).50 percent to cash-type savings, 50 percent to dividend paying stocks .....
Just to add my 3 cents worth..... I have bought mutual funds (and enriched Bay St types with my money). I have bought ETFs (and enriched Bay St types with my money). I have bought penny stocks on a "hot tip"( and enriched God-knows-who .....
I'm curious as to why PC Financial is not available to Quebecers insofar as it is a Canadian chartered bank, plus, it is mostly accessed by the Internet ( or bank machines) anyway.

I was just wondering if anyone has given ING's new "Thrive" chequing account a try? I opened an account and started a direct deposit and they gave me 123 dollar bonus! But of course there is an exhorbitant fee for thier cheques. Apparently .....
I agree Rascal, and I would add to it that it is sometimes best to save the griping for the really important things. If the dripping community used it's collective voice to effect " BIG PICTURE" change,like getting more companies to offer .....
